As you can see from the above pictures, I collect orphans! The more offbeat the better. The only problem
is that now these cars and bikes have been discovered by people with money, so they aren't the bargain they once were. I still
keep looking for that "barn find" however. Maybe some day I'll find that Bugatti under a tarp in a forgotten barn or warehouse.
....Yeah right.
Incidentally, the Laverda is a pretty rare hot rod version of the model with a 120 degree crank and a hand
formed aluminum gas tank. A lovely brute, but a little topheavy for my liking. If I were about 4" taller it would have been
more manageable at stop lights, but I was always worried about dropping the damned thing.
The Fiat came from Evil Bay and really has been a fun little car. The wife loves it, so it stays.
